Meet our Sports Council team for 2023 - 24
We have been elected as representatives from classes from Year 2 up to Year 6 and our main aim is to make sport the best it can be at GSP and to encourage every child to take part in a sport and be active.
We will endeavour to ensure that we make available all the necessary equipment so that children can take part in a wide range of sporting activities both in PE lessons and in extra-curricular clubs. We want our school to be as successful as possible and we will look to enter as many competitions as we can to give opportunities for all children to represent our school.
So far this year we have entered competitions for:
- football
- indoor athletics
- cross-country
- rugby
- netball
- boccia
Our after school enrichment clubs for sports are:
- Multi-sport
- Netball
- Rugby
- Cross-country
- Football
